Powertrain Warranty Coverage Examples
Our warranty program covers all items designated by the manufacturer as “powertrain” components in the manufacturer's original warranty documents. Below, we will cover some examples of powertrain components covered by our warranty; however, keep in mind that coverage varies based on manufacturer.
Engine
Our comprehensive powertrain warranty covers a considerable portion of most engine components. For example, the cylinder block, head, and all remaining internal parts are covered, as well as the camshaft, crankshaft, and oil pump. The warranty also covers the pistons, intake and exhaust valves, timing gears, and gaskets.
Transmission and Transaxle
The transmission coverage is also impressive. It includes the torque converter, valve body, front pump, Transfer Case, and all of its internal parts. Other transmission components often covered include the planetary gearset and the additional seals and gaskets.
Front Wheel Drive System
For the front-wheel drive system, our warranty covers the axle shafts, driveshaft, constant velocity points, limited slip differential, and the final drive housing with all of the included internal parts. In addition to those FWD components, we also cover the front hub and bearings, along with the seals and gaskets.
Rear Wheel Drive System
The coverage of the rear-wheel drive system is just as comprehensive as that of the front-wheel drive. Like the front-wheel drive, the RWD warranty covers the axle housing with internal parts, the propeller shaft, the axle shaft, and the Drive Shaft. However, the coverage doesn’t stop there; it includes the u-joints, bearings, and supports.

To keep the warranty in force, you must have all of the manufacturer’s required maintenance performed by a licensed repair facility and keep copies of the repair orders. Keep in mind that if you choose to service with us, we will keep these records for you.
